Garden Railway

A railway in your garden, that’s unusual? A tough project using all our engineering skills to produce a ‘removable’ support system for the top sections to house the railway tracks. We came up with an idea to manufacture a ‘steel cast’ to allow the construction of each of the concrete support housings for the up-right T section supports; these were then fitted into the ground and further galvanized box section columns were fitted to support the top section of the railway. We were then asked to provide and construct a pond with electric services, outside lighting and a complete new decked patio area which needed ready mix concrete ‘floated’ into the pit. Top polypropylene deck boards were then fitted to support the tacks over galvanized sheeting (water-proof).
